A South Shore Drive residence in the museum area sells for $4.5 million.

The five weeks between May 1 and June 4 were busy for luxury residential real estate; 10 homes sold for $3 million or more in that brief time. Case in point: This 6,374-square-foot bayfront home in the museum area at 336 South Shore Drive that sold for $4.5 million on May 31, after an original list price in early 2015 of $5.5 million. The five-bedroom, four-bath home has numerous Old World details, including natural stone flooring and elaborate ironwork. Klaus Lang and Nora Johnson of Michael Saunders & Company were the listing agents; Derrick Bhayat of Coldwell Banker was the selling agent.
