Sarasota's Big Top Brewing Company is providing some much-needed motivation for your next running session. Every Monday night, the brewery hosts a run club, gathering runners and beer lovers in one place. Meet up for check-in at 6 p.m. and start running at 6:30. The three-mile run will start at the brewery and go to and through the Celery Fields and back.

When you're done running, enjoy $5 beers and food from a local food truck. If you become a regular runner, you can enjoy several different perks. Ten runs will equal a free beer, 20 runs will earn a club T-shirt and 30 runs earns a six-pack of your choice. After 30 runs, you can earn rewards like gift cards, Big Top merchandise and free dinner and drinks.

You can also run a 5K course with Big Top aa part of the Florida Brewery Running Series on Sunday, October 17. The event starts at 11 a.m. and will weave through the brewery's surrounding streets. Run or walk at any pace; live music, food trucks and local vendors will be waiting at the finish line.

Tickets cost $32 and 10 percent of total ticket earnings will go toward local nonprofits. Participants will receive a free craft brew and a collector's pint glass or swag bag.
