Applications for round two of Manatee County's Housing Assistance Program open Aug. 6, at 8 a.m.—meaning more local residents may qualify for assistance through CARES Relief funding. To participate, applicants must have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic on or after March 1, 2020, and be delinquent on rental or mortgage payments due to job loss, furlough, work hour reduction, etc.

When funding opens, applicants will need to register through the Neighborly portal and complete the required application in its entirety. Funding will be awarded on a first-come, first-eligible basis until all funds are committed. Funding is limited to the first 500 people—click here for more information.
