Sarasota County officials announced today that it is loosening more beach restrictions beginning Monday, May 4. Parking will be available at county-owned beaches, and chairs, coolers and canopies will also now be allowed. Restrooms are also open; concessions, playgrounds, amenities and picnic shelters will remain closed. The county is also asking all beachgoers to maintain social distancing and gathering guidelines.

Additionally, pickleball and tennis courts will reopen on Saturday, May 2.
