COVID-19 Drive-Thru Testing Available Tuesday in North Sarasota

A second round of testing will take place at the Robert L. Taylor Community Complex. Appointments are required.

COVID-19 tests will be given by appointment only at the Robert L. Taylor community complex on Tuesday.

The Florida Department of Health in Sarasota County will host another round of drive-thru COVID-19 testing for North Sarasota residents from 8 a.m.-noon Tuesday, April 28, at Robert L. Taylor Community Complex, 1845 34th St. Tests will be given by appointment only to those experiencing symptoms (fever, cough, or shortness of breath) or who work in a health care setting. Callers will be screened using current CDC testing criteria. Appointments are limited; however, more testing opportunities may be scheduled in the future.

In Sarasota County, there are 315 total COVID-19 cases. In Manatee County, there are 482 total cases. In Florida, there are 30,174 total cases and there have been 1,012 deaths as a result of the infection.
