What I Wear to Work: Lucy Suits of Be Glam Photo Booth

This Texas native tells us about her modern open-air photo booth business and on-the-go girly and glamorous style, from fun props to trends she loves.

WHO: Lucy Suits, 29, founder and owner of Be Glam Photo Booth
EDUCATION: I have a degree in cosmetology and tried my hand at interior design. I’m currently pursuing a degree in physical therapy from State College of Florida.

WHAT I DO: I handle the day-to-day operations of Be Glam Photo Booth, including buying and customizing the props for each event, setting up, editing the photos, maintaining the website and social media channels, and making sure my clients are happy. I’m fortunate to work with some fabulous wedding planners and have started to explore the world of wedding expos.

FAVORITE PROP RIGHT NOW: I really love the balloon props. We have a huge engagement ring that’s really cute. Disco balls are really popular right now along with customized bubble speeches.

MY STYLE: I would say I’m trendy but try to mix in a balance of elegance and a feminine and girly flair. I’m not afraid to try new styles.

HOW HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED? I’ve always been into trends and tried to keep up with them. Today, I’m more conservative than I was in my younger years and focus on buying pieces of quality.
FAVORITE DESIGNERS: Alexander Wang, Alexis, Self Portrait, Red Valentino, Aquazzura and Yves Saint Laurent
MY GO-TO ITEMS: Right now, I’ve been reaching for chokers, Saint Laurent wedges and fun pom pom sandals.

FAVORITE ITEM I OWN: A Tiffany bracelet that my mother-in-law gave me after having my daughter Lily. It’s white gold and encrusted in small diamonds with a pink baby carriage charm. It’s a piece that I'll have forever.

FOR A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN: I’m really into matching skirts and tops right now. I would pair that with my fringe red Aquazzura stilettos (obsessed with fringe as well!) and a cute clutch for a night out.

Lucy is wearing a BCBG top, bralette from INfluence Style, FRAME jeans, Moschino belt, gold and metallic Asics wedge sneakers, bracelets from Valentino and Hermes, Dolce and Gabbana glasses, stud earrings, kitty ears from Nordstrom, a Missoni Mare turban, manicure from PAINT Nail Bar, Tom Ford lipstick in Pussycat and Chanel eyeshadow in Fantasme.
