What I Wear to Work: Sam Beebe of INfluence Style and INfluence Men
In 2009, Sam Beebe and her sister Liz Jones opened the doors to INfluence, a fashionable women's boutique on St. Armands Circle. (If you haven’t been, do yourself a favor and go. Right. Now.) In this installment of What I Wear to Work, Sam talks to us about her easy, laid-back style with fashionable flair.
WHO: Sam Beebe, 30, co-owner of INfluence Style and INfluence Men
WHAT I DO: I manage the day-to-day financials, scheduling and our store’s website. Since having my son Mason, I work from home more. When I'm at the store, I’m assisting customers and recommending various styles based on their preferences.
MY STYLE: I love a good pair of jeans that can be worn with sandals or heels, a simple tee and a versatile sweater. Since having a child, my on-the-go mom style has become more relaxed, casual and cute.
HOW HAS YOUR STYLE EVOLVED? Our store is always evolving and so do all of our styles. I try to stay true to myself with good basics and great denim.
FAVORITE DESIGNERS: Vince, McGuire, Alexis, Schutz, Equipment, Jennifer Zeuner and ATM.
MY GO-TO ITEMS: A pair of dark-wash skinny jeans, booties and a white tee.
FAVORITE ITEM IN THE STORE RIGHT NOW: Schutz Enida, a block heel retailed at $170.
FAVORITE ITEM I OWN: My silver M necklace that was made by Liebe Gamble from June Simmons. It was a custom design and holds sentimental value.
FOR A NIGHT OUT ON THE TOWN: The Parker Devlin pant with a cute silk top and a pair of nice heels with my Chloe bag.
Sam is wearing Kristin Cavallari booties, JBrand crop distressed skinny jeans, a BLQ tunic and necklaces by Clover Post.
