The Sarasota Wine Festival returns to Five Points Park on Saturday, March 22, from 5 to 10 p.m.
The festival—now in its second year—has partnered with the Women's Resource Center, a nonprofit that offers programs like mental health and wellness initiatives, resource counseling, financial and legal consultations, life skills coaching, career guidance, and scholarships for education to area women. As part of the partnership, Sarasota Wine Festival has offered complimentary vendor booths to women entrepreneurs in Sarasota County.
“We’re raising a glass to women entrepreneurs,” festival co-founder Cathy Kwon said in a press release. “This is more than a wine festival—it’s a celebration of community, connection and collaboration.”
Access to the festival at Five Points Park is free for the public and includes live music, food trucks and several local vendors. Or, for an immersive wine experience, the festival is offering tickets at two pricing tiers.
For a $125 general admission ticket, attendees can enjoy unlimited wine tastings from 6 to 9 p.m. with the festival's winemakers. You'll also get a souvenir wine glass, tote bag, food truck voucher, craft cocktail samples and other freebies. A $250 VIP ticket, meanwhile, includes everything that general admission receives, plus exclusive festival access one hour before general admission, a private lounge area with tables, private bathrooms, hors d'oeuvres, and a swag bag. (Those VIP tickets, however, are limited.)
