Munchies 420 Café

6639 Superior Ave., Sarasota, (941) 303-3304

Beloved stoner restaurant Munchies 420—which reopens on 4/20 under new ownership—is the clear winner for feeding your taboo pastimes. The restaurant offers gargantuan sandwiches, wings that will melt your face off and much more. Munchies will open at 4:20 p.m. and stay open until 4:20 a.m., so you'll have ample time to maximize your 4/20 experience.

Mellow Mushroom

6727 S. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, (941) 388-7504, mellowmushroom.com

Enhance your mellow vibes with a pizza from south Sarasota's Mellow Mushroom. This year, the restaurant is offering a 4/20 special if you order online: Enjoy the restaurant's signature pretzel bites for only $4.20 when you use code MEL420.

Food + Beer

Multiple locations, eatfooddrinkbeer.com

With five convenient locations around the region and a menu full of munchables, Food + Beer is an obvious choice for a 4/20 bite. Tuck into a perfect cheeseburger or finger-food-friendly homestyle nuggets for a quick, easy and comforting meal.

Origin Craft Beer & Pizza Café

Multiple locations, originpizzacafe.com

Origin Pizza Café boasts several outposts around the area for maximum access to stoner-friendly food. Pizzas with an assortment of creative toppings dominate the menu, but we’re here for the wings. They are huge, well-seasoned and the juiciest in town. Don’t forget the extra napkins.

The Mable

2831 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota, (941) 487-7373, themablebar.com

The food at The Mable  is delicious, and the prices are even better. For $4.95, you can sop up the evening’s festivities with a foot-long hot dog. Add $2 and the bar will even cover it in chili and cheese for you. Pair it with some truffled tater tots and give yourself over to the deliciousness.

Solorzano’s

3604 Webber St., Sarasota, (941) 927-4992, solorzanobros.com

Not to be confused with other pizzerias of a similar name, at the Solorzano’s on Webber Street, we like the “centrello” pizza (a white pizza with onions, spinach, tomatoes and basil)—but we would never tell you how to order your favorite pie.

Clarabell Cookies

6564 Superior Ave., Sarasota, (941) 923-1742, clarabellcookies.com

Don’t forget dessert. Swing by Clarabell Cookies in Gulf Gate to find out why these are the best cookies in town. Opt for an assortment so you can try everything.
