Arizona-based grocery store chain Sprouts Farmers Market is opening its newest area location today, June 30, at 1149 Cortez Road W. in Bradenton. The grocery store offers organic produce, bulk goods, convenience meals, vitamin supplements and more.

The new store brings approximately 100 new jobs to the Manatee County area.

“I am very excited to welcome Sprouts Farmers Market to the Manatee County and Bradenton communities,” Manatee County commissioner Mike Rahn said in a press release.

Today’s grand opening will include product sampling at what the store is calling a “pop-up party.”

Sprouts Farmers Market is continuing to expand in the Sarasota-Manatee area and recently signed a 10-year lease at One Main Plaza in downtown Sarasota. The building is currently under construction, so an opening date for the 23,000-square-foot store has not yet been announced. One Main Plaza is slated for completion in the fourth quarter of 2024
