Mote Marine Laboratory and Aquarium is partnering with the University Town Center community for an event on April 12 benefittng Mote’s new Science Education Aquarium (also known as Mote SEA). The "SEAsonal Tasting" at Nathan Benderson Park will include beer and wine as well as an array of light bites from more than 10 University Town Center restaurants, including JPAN Sushi & Grill, Tandoor Indian Restaurant and Selva Grill, just to name a few. Tickets start at $125 per person.

Guests are invited to ascend the Nathan Benderson Park Finishing Tower for a glimpse at Mote SEA as it rises from its foundation below. Mote staff will also speak about the new building’s progress and what the future holds for the anticipated aquarium.

Mote SEA broke ground in November 2020 and, upon completion, will feature more than a million gallons of aquarium exhibits throughout its 12-acre property.
