Meals featuring multiple courses of food matched with a variety of wines are common—but those that match dishes with bourbon, less so. If you have a nose for bourbon, or want to develop one, a pair of special meals happening at Sarasota's Baker & Wife on Sunday, June 13, might be for you.

The restaurant will serve four courses that day, at two different times, 1 and 2:30 p.m., with a limited number of seats available. The food will include shrimp hush puppies and a smoked onion dip, fried chicken and a buttermilk biscuit, pork belly with black eyed peas and caramelized bread pudding for dessert.

Each course will be accompanied by a one-ounce pour of a great bourbon: Michter's Small Barch, Wilderness Trail wheated bourbon, Old Forester 1920 and Blanton's Single Barrel. You'll also receive a welcome cocktail when you arrive.

Baker & Wife's Barrels & Bites event will have two seatings limited to 24 people each—one at 1 p.m. and one at 2:30 p.m. on Sunday, June 13. Tickets are $90. Baker & Wife is located at 2157 Siesta Drive, Sarasota. To purchase a ticket, call (941) 960-1765.
