The exhibit represents a diversity of perspectives on labor, from the belief that it is a manifestation of industrial progress to the concern that it exploits society’s most vulnerable people.
“We envision it being a performing arts incubator and a place to host performances by The Players and other performing arts organizations," says The Stage CEO Brian McCarthy.
On the schedule: a U.S. premiere by an Iranian composer, a three-day "Bachtober" Fest, a celebration of the Argentine tango, Cirque des Voix and much more.
