PINC Returns to the Sarasota Opera House on Dec. 7
After a three-year hiatus, the PINC conference is returning to the Sarasota Opera House on Thursday, Dec. 7, 2023. The day will feature a cast of thought-provoking speakers from diverse disciplines, including Zion Clark, a wrestler, MMA fighter, Guinness World Record holder, author, speaker and subject of an Emmy Award-winning Netflix documentary called Zion. Standing at just over 3 feet tall and weighing 110 pounds, Clark competes against "able-bodied" athletes and has his eyes set on competing in both the Olympic and Paralympic Games in 2024. Currently, he can be seen on this season of America’s Got Talent.
Additionally, PINC's annual Long Table Dinner, a ticketed dining event in the Rosemary District, returns this year on Dec. 8. Tickets for both the conference and the dinner go on sale on Oct. 1, 2023, with a special early bird rate of $275 for the conference through Oct. 31, after which tickets will return to the regular rate of $425 per person.
PINC stands for "People, Ideas, Nature and Creativity," and this year's theme is "community."
"PINC has evolved to evoke a greater focus on our community’s state of mind, recognizing the collective trauma we’ve all faced in the past few years,” says Anand Pallegar, whose organization DreamLarge is putting on the conference. “As we infuse our audience with inspiring stories and brilliant minds, this renewed purpose underscores our steadfast commitment to people, ideas, nature, and now community.”
