Making their return to Sarasota's Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, the rock tribute band Classic Albums Live will be performing Led Zeppelin’s Led Zeppelin II in its entirety this Friday, Sept. 24. Classic Albums Live is known for its focus and love for the music and will be playing out every moment, note and sound from the iconic album—including the infamous cough from Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant.

This year marks 18 years since the inception of Classic Albums Live. Craig Martin, the founder and lead singer of the cover band, says his ambition is preserve the artistic integrity of a bygone era.

“I think this is important music, and that’s why it’s important to preserve," says Martin. "That’s one of the reasons the music has endured this long—the true definition of a classic body of work. Sarasota can expect Led Zeppelin II to be played with no frills, no gimmicks, cut for cut. Every little sound will be recreated from that album. We go to crazy detail to make sure the experience is just the same as the record that was produced.”

The concert starts at 8 p.m. Friday, Sept. 24, at Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall, 777 N. Tamiami Trail, Sarasota. Tickets range from $45 to $72.
