Floridians' consumer confidence dropped between May and June, according to the latest survey results published by the University of Florida's Bureau of Economic and Business Research. The bureau's index declined by 1.9 points, from 100.2 in May to 98.3 in June. Each of the index's five components declined: one's perception of one's personal financial situation now when compared with a year ago and whether now is a good time to make a major purchase, as well as one's anticipation of future economic conditions.
