The Florida Defense Contractors Association recently appointed Bradenton's Gene Moran as the group's executive director. In the role, Moran will coordinate external communications, event programming and membership issues. He previously served as vice chairman of the organization and is the founder of Capitol Integration, a Florida-based lobbying firm. He is a retired Navy captain.
