Guy and Cynthia Peterson recently sold the downtown Sarasota office building that houses the Guy Peterson Office for Architecture for $1 million. The property, a 2,261-square-foot contemporary office space, is located at 1234 First St., Sarasota. The building was designed by well-known Sarasota School of Architecture architect Tim Siebert in 1980 and then later updated by Guy Peterson, principal architect at the Office for Architecture. The property was purchased by Dennis McGillicuddy's Performing Properties II, LLC. Ian Black and Steve Horn, partners at Ian Black Real Estate, represented the seller; John Harshman of Harshman & Company, Inc. represented the buyer.
