More than 30 restaurants, galleries, eateries, breweries and live music participate in the fun at Village of the Arts' monthly ArtWalk in Bradenton. Trash Fish Dinner
This year's Trash Fish Dinner will be held at Louies Modern this Monday, Aug. 7, when local chefs will be whipping up a five-course meal featuring local "trash fish"--i.e., invasive or aquaculture species that don't usually make a restaurant's seafood menu. Here's a peek at what's on the menu: Thai green curry mullet mousse, barbecue amberjack, wood-fired drum, lionfish ceviche, buttermilk-fried rudderfish, seared skate wing, wood-grilled Atlantic lane snapper and much, much more. Tickets are $150 or $125 for Chefs Collaborative members; for more info, click here.
