Sarasota's xG Technology, Inc., a provider of wireless communications for use in challenging operating environments, will close its acquisition of Vislink Communication Systems on Monday, Jan. 9. The closing will coincide with Vislink's general meeting and shareholder vote on the acquisition agreement, which will take place the same day. Vislink, based in the U.K., specializes in the wireless capture, delivery and management of secure, high-quality, live video from the field.
