Nick O’Donnell, a member of Sarasota's Faulhaber Fab Lab since 2015, recently won the Governor’s Young Entrepreneur Award. O’Donnell, 23, uses his Fab Lab membership to access 3D computer-aided design software, algorithmic modeling and laser-cutting equipment to create products that are shipped to homes around the world. O'Donnell's Terraform Design creates a variety of home products that sell from $139 to $4,500. For a monthly fee, Fab Lab members are granted the use of innovative STEM equipment.
