Bird Key Yacht Club Completes New $2.5 Million Marina
The marina includes 780 feet of new seawall, 48 boat clips, 18 boat lifts, a dual fuel system and more.

The Bird Key Yacht Club opened its new marina on Oct. 22. The marina includes 780 feet of new seawall, 48 boat clips, 18 boat lifts, a dual fuel system and more. Yacht club members and friends celebrated the completion of the project with MarinaFest, featuring bagpipers, singers and a champagne bottle smashed over the new docks. The renovation began with a committee that formed in February 2014 to address the challenges of 54-year-old seawalls and docks.
