American Skin Association Opens Sarasota Facility

Overseeing ASA's Florida efforts will be board member Eric Kaplan, Esq., and Dr. R. Dean Hautamaki, senior medical advisor for Florida.

By Staff January 14, 2021

The American Skin Association (ASA) has opened a Consumer Health Center in Sarasota. This move comes as a response to growing support for ASA in the state and a desire for the organization to become an integral part of the community. Floridians, who enjoy an average of over 300 days of sunshine per year, understand all too well the devastating damage the sun can do and the importance of both sun safety and skin health. Overseeing ASA's Florida efforts will be ASA board member Eric Kaplan, Esq., and R. Dean Hautamaki, MD, FCCP, FACP, the organization's newly named senior medical advisor for Florida.
