Ringling College Art Exhibitions

A quartet of shows in the galleries at Ringling College starts Monday. In the Patricia Thompson Alumni + Skylight Galleries: Regan Dunnick: Plum Bobs Ulysses, pt. 1. In the Richard and Barbara Basch Gallery: Sally Pettibon: Personal Geography. In the Lois and David Stulberg Gallery, illest of Illustration, featuring works by sophomores, juniors and seniors in the illustration department. The Tams: Party on the Plaza

CoolToday Park continues its outdoor concerts, with lots of space around attendees, with a performance by The Tams (“What Kind of Fool,” “Be Young, Be Foolish, Be Happy”) delivering up their blend of beach music, R&B and smooth soul. Bookstore1 Sarasota: Celebrating Elena Ferrante with Ann Goldstein

Choral Artists: Out of Adversity: Embracing Our Differences

HD at the Opera House

The Sarasota Opera House continues its film series offering opera and ballet performances with Tchaikovsky’s Sleeping Beauty, choreographed by Rudolf Nureyev, at 1:30 p.m. Polia Semionova stars as Princess Aurora in this production from Teatro alla Scala. Venice Theatre Cabaret: Moon River, the Songs of Johnny Mercer

You’ll want to sing along to Mercer lyrics from hits like “Blues in the Night,” “Autumn Leaves” and “Laura,” but it’s probably best to let performer John Lariviere handle them, in this socially distanced concert in VT’s Jervey Theatre.
