Doctors Hospital of Sarasota recently hired a new assistant chief nursing officer, a new director of the medical surgical floor and a new executive chef. The new assistant chief nursing officer, Patti Squires, was previously the director of emergency services at Palms of Pasadena Hospital in St. Petersburg. She will assist in overseeing nursing departments in the emergency room, critical care and progressive care units. The new director of the medical surgical floor, Erin O’Quinn, has nursing experience in critical care, intensive care and nursing management. The new executive chef, Kerry Shellito, graduated from Le Cordon Bleu College of Culinary Arts and is a certified dietary manager. He was most recently the executive chef at Brandon Regional Hospital.
