Southwest to Add Service to Washington, D.C., NYC and Austin

The new flights will begin in November.

Southwest Airlines recently announced that beginning Nov. 7, 2021, it will add nonstop Sunday-Friday service between Sarasota Bradenton International Airport (SRQ) and Washington D.C. (Reagan) and New York City (LaGuardia). It will also add new nonstop service to Austin, Texas, beginning Nov. 20, with frequency to be announced at a later date.

Southwest currently offers nonstop service from SRQ to Atlanta, Baltimore/Washington, Chicago (Midway), Cincinnati, Cleveland, Columbus, Dallas, Denver, Grand Rapids, Houston (Hobby), Indianapolis, Kansas City, Milwaukee, Nashville, Pittsburgh and St. Louis.
