TreeUmph! will have you swinging through the treetops, climbing challenging obstacles and cruising down fun ziplines.

By Allison Forsyth July 29, 2020

TreeUmph! has ziplines, foot bridges and challenging obstacles to adventure through.

Looking for an opportunity to swing through the trees like a monkey and show off your climbing skills? Try one of the fun, challenging obstacle courses at TreeUmph! Adventure Course, located on State Road 70 in Bradenton. TreeUmph! calls its 14 acres of tree-filled land a playground, where guests can overcome increasingly challenging obstacles with rope swings, suspended logs and ladders and more. Guests can also enjoy exciting summit and zipline courses, and kids can try "Ape Up," a course specifically designed for them.

When

Due to COVID-19, TreeUmph! has limited its summer hours through Monday, August 31, to keep guests safe. Limited daily reservations are available from 8 to 11:30 a.m, and the course is closed on Wednesdays. Up to 20 climbers are booked per half-hour session.

Tickets for those age 12 and older are $55.95,  "junior" tickets (for ages 9-11) are $37.95 and children's "Ape Up" tickets (for those 7 and up) are $25.95. Florida college students with a valid ID can also receive a discount.

What to Bring

Face masks are mandatory in "required mask zones" at check-in and during training. Masks can be taken off once guests are on the course. Be sure to stay hydrated by bringing a bottle of water, or purchase an unlimited water pass for $5. Wear closed-toed shoes and athletic clothing that is easy to move in. If  you want to bring your phone or camera on the course, be sure you have pockets or a small waist pack in which to stow them. TreeUmph! also provides fingerless cloth gloves to use on the course, but bring your own workout gloves if you have them.

Be prepared to sweat and get in fun exercise at TreeUmph!

What to Expect

All guests must sign and send a waiver prior to checking in. When you arrive, you will watch a short introduction video and go through a demo training course to get familiar with gear and test your ability. Then, you're ready to climb.

Each course increases in height and difficult level as you go. But don't worry if you're not ready for the challenge. You can always go back and explore easier routes, or zip through the treetops on an exhilarating zipline. Trained guides will be there to help and cheer you on, too.
