It’s this spirit of transformation that inspires the Wonder Gala, returning for its second year on Friday, December 5, 6:30 p.m., at The Ora in Sarasota.

At its heart, the Wonder Gala is an invitation to witness resilience and hope. Guests will encounter the “Wonder Wall,” a moving gallery of portraits and personal stories from families whose lives have been changed by The Florida Center. These stories remind us that wonder is not simply magical—it’s built on compassion, expertise, and a community determined to make the amazing happen.
An Evening to Celebrate
The celebration begins with a sparkling VIP reception, followed by a soulful performance from rising vocalist Allison Nash and lively dancing to Soul Sensations. Guests will enjoy a gourmet dinner prepared by Michael’s On East, an open bar, and spirited live and silent auctions featuring exclusive experiences and treasures. Every detail is designed to create an evening that is as elegant as it is joyful—an event where purpose and celebration walk hand in hand.

Proceeds from the Wonder Gala fuel The Florida Center’s vital programs, including early education, developmental therapies, mental health counseling, and support for children impacted by Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorders (FASD). These services ensure that every child receives the care and tools they need to grow, heal, and thrive.
