Four Things We Love About December

As a challenging 2020 comes to a close, there’s a lot to be grateful for.

Is there anything better than feeling the wind in your hair and the sunshine on your face when you’re cruising down the Intracoastal?

We don’t think anyone would deny that 2020 has been a tough year. At Cannons, we’ve had to deal with the ebb and flow of the pandemic, just like so many of our fellow small businesses. But as we get to the heart of December—and the end of the year—there’s a lot to be grateful for.

Getting outside

This year taught us how healing spending time in nature can be—and how grateful we are for Sarasota’s beautiful natural environment. We especially love December, when temperatures cool off and it’s even nicer to be outside. Is there anything better than feeling the wind in your hair and the sunshine on your face when you’re cruising down the Intracoastal on your boat?

New inventory

We’ve got new Grady-White boats arriving daily at the marina, and we’re not exaggerating when we say this year’s models are the best yet. They’re built with Grady-White’s signature commitment to quality but equipped with the latest technology—oh, and they’re beautiful, too. Production is currently sold out until the 2022 model year, so visit cannons.com to see our current inventory.

Spending time (safely) with friends and family

During a year of ups and downs, we’ve never been more appreciative to spend time with our loved ones. Boating is a safe, socially distanced way to do just that—whether you purchase a new boat or rent one from our fleet of center consoles, deck boats, and runabouts.

Welcoming new boaters to the Cannons community

As we mentioned, we learned this year that spending time in nature is safe and restorative—and so did many of you. The Cannons crew loves welcoming new boaters to our community, and we’re looking forward to continuing that this month—and throughout 2021, too.
