Lexus of Sarasota left the competition in its rear-view mirror this year, even though the dealership has been going through a major and messy two-year remodel, which usually steers buyers away. Obviously, the company and its 179 employees know how to keep their clients happy.

“We’ve kept up our customer service,” says guest relations coordinator Kelly McAllister. “We have such a good group of employees, people who have been here 25-plus years, and that’s almost unheard of. Sometimes, people just come in to talk.”

Lexus of Sarasota sells 300 cars a month during off months and up to 400 cars a month in the busy season, McAllister says. “The brand is based on treating people like a guest in your own home.” And now, Lexus of Sarasota’s newly remodeled home will offer more inventory, a new café and upgraded waiting areas with huge TVs so you can munch on yummy snacks and watch football—heck, stay all day.
