Sarasota Memorial Healthcare Foundation has announced Deb Kabinoff’s appointment to board chair as Michael J. Valentino steps down to devote more time to his family. Kabinoff’s appointment to chair is effective immediately. She has a strong background in the health industry, having owned two companies specializing in innovative management strategies for healthcare. She holds an MBA and master’s certificate in health services management and has served on the Healthcare Foundation board since 2019. She currently chairs the grants committee and has co-chaired several Healthcare Foundation events, including the Women & Medicine Educational Luncheon.
