Rita Lowman has joined the board of directors of Venice-based Caldwell Trust Company. Lowman began her banking career 45 years ago as state administration executive for NationsBank/Bank of America, and most recently served as president of Pilot Bank. She brings valuable experience in the areas of mergers and acquisitions, branding and community involvement. She has received multiple awards across the business and philanthropy sectors, including being elected as chair of the Florida Bankers Association—the third woman to serve in the position in the organization's 130-year history.
