Celebrate Florida Arbor Day by searching for native trees with UF/IFAS Extension and Manatee County Parks and Natural Resources arborists. The community-wide scavenger hunt will take place from Friday, Jan. 21 to Jan. 31.

Participants can explore Emerson Point Preserve, Conservatory Park and Tom Bennett Park while searching for trees with a TreeQuest tag. When found, participants can scan the QR code on the tag to open an online survey where they can enter information about the tree. Then, participants can register for a chance to win prizes.
