The Early Learning Coalition of Manatee County was recently awarded a $6,000 grant from PNC Bank to help create a new "STEAM Machine" mobile classroom that will increase the organization's educational fleet to six vehicles. The STEAM Machine will be constructed from a school bus donated to the Early Learning Coalition by the Manatee County school district. The PNC grant will help the coalition complete the interior buildout and STEAM program materials. STEAM curriculum focuses on science, technology, engineering, the arts and math. The Early Learning Coalition is a multi-service agency dedicated to helping children develop skills to be successful in school and beyond.
