The popular Brunch on the Bay event returned to the USF Sarasota-Manatee campus on Sunday. The campus’ signature fundraising event for scholarships set a record for dollars raised; while the total is still being finalized, it is expected to surpass $500,000, which exceeds the amount raised in 2019 when the annual event was last held due to the Covid-19 pandemic. This year's gala, now in its 27th year, hosted approximately 600 guests.
