Suncoast Charities for Children has announced that the 24th annual Thunder By The Bay Music & Motorcycle Festival  is scheduled for February 18-20, 2022, at the Sarasota Fairgrounds.  The festival will feature continuous live music being billed as "where rock meets country." The featured headliner is FireHouse; other bands include Slippery When Wet (a Bon Jovi tribute group), Tobacco Rd Band, Free Fallin' (a Tom Petty tribute group), Bobby Friss, Diary of an Ozzman (an Ozzy Osbourne tribute group), 300t6 and The Verge. The festival will also feature one-of-a-kind motorcycle, car and truck displays, more than 100 vendors, a charity motorcycle ride, bike show, food and drink, and more. In advance of the festival will be a sporting clay tournament, "Born to be Wild" kickoff party, a private whisky tasting event and a fashion show.

In 2021, the festival raised $225,000, which enabled Suncoast Charities for Children to provide financial support to The Haven, Loveland Center, Children First, The Florida Center for Early Childhood, Sarasota Special Olympics and the Suncoast Foundation. For more information, click here.
