The Rotary Club of Sarasota has awarded a five-year, $50,000 grant to the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota and DeSoto Counties to support youth scholarships for the organization’s Great Futures Academy. Great Futures Academy was created to address the learning loss experienced by local youth due to Covid-19. Through it, club members will focus on academic recovery as well as participate in a variety of program opportunities to enrich their character and leadership while also instilling healthy habits.
