Officials at Sarasota Bradenton International Airport announced Thursday that a new airline, Avelo, will begin operating out of the airport early next year. The airline will offer flights between Sarasota and New Haven, Connecticut, three days a week, beginning Thursday, Jan. 13. Avelo previously announced new routes between New Haven and five other Florida cities: Fort Myers, Palm Beach, Tampa, Fort Lauderdale and Orlando.
