Shumaker attorney C. Jade Davis has been named to this year’s National Black Lawyers (NBL) "40 Under 40" list, a professional honorary organization composed of the 40 most talented black lawyers age 40 or younger in each state or region who represent individuals and businesses in the American legal system.

Davis is a member of Shumaker’s litigation and disputes service line in Sarasota, where she focuses her practice on the areas of commercial and business litigation in the real estate, construction, employment, and manufacturing sectors. She is a member of the Sarasota County Bar Association, where she serves as director of the Young Lawyers Division and a member of the Council for Diversity and Inclusion. She also serves on The Florida Bar Diversity and Inclusion Committee as co-chair for the Multicultural Subcommittee and the Real Property Probate & Trust Law Committee as the co-chair of the Construction Law Website Subcommittee for the Construction Law Committee.
