New Radio Show Will Answer Legal Questions and Cover the Justice System

Legal Aid of Manasota, a nonprofit that provides legal services at no cost to those in need, is starting a new monthly radio segment on WSLR 96.5.

Legal Aid of Manasota, a nonprofit that provides legal services at no cost to those in need, is starting a new monthly radio segment on WSLR 96.5. Part of the radio station's Peace and Justice Report, the segment will be called "Justice Matters" and will have hosts and guests answering legal questions live on the air, and talking about how the justice system affects people in our area.

The first show will air at 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 18, and will feature Sarasota labor and employment attorney Jennifer Fowler-Hermes, who will discuss whether employers can require employees to get the Covid-19 vaccine.

Subsequent shows will take place on the third Wednesday of each month. You can listen at 96.5 FM or on WSLR's website.
