Call a Lyft Ride, a special service that lets users request a ride by phone—no app required—has launched in cities across Florida, including Sarasota. Designed for use by seniors and those without access to the Lyft app, the service allows users to call to book a ride with a Lyft agent, and a car will arrive in minutes.

Riders or their loved ones can call (631) 201-LYFT using a cell phone to book a ride. Agents are available Monday to Friday from 8 a.m.-8 p.m. Throughout the process, Lyft will text riders important information about the ride and include a link to track it once it’s booked. A final price is provided upfront and paid by debit or credit card over the phone.
