Forty Carrots Family Center, a nonprofit dedicated to strengthening families, recently received a $26,746 grant from the Partners for Green Places to provide energy efficient funding, creating savings that will result in additional parenting education, mental health, and early childhood education services to the community. The Partners for Green Places project provides funding to non-profit partners and businesses in Sarasota County to help reduce organizations’ carbon footprint and become more sustainable.
