Florida agriculture commissioner Nikki Fried has appointed former state Rep. Doug Holder to the Florida Agriculture Center and Horse Park Board. Holder, who represented Sarasota County in the state legislature from 2006-2014, is a partner at The Legis Group, a consulting and lobbying firm. Other appointees include Mary Phelps, Chester A. Bishop and Angela Palacios.
