Shumaker, Loop & Kendrick, LLP partner Meghan Serrano has been named the 2020 Board Member of the Year by the Florida Area Council for the Boys and Girls Clubs of America. The award recognizes Serrano’s commitment to empower youth to achieve their full potential at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County. She joined the board of directors at the Boys & Girls Clubs of Sarasota County in 2016 and is currently chair-elect.

Serrano is board certified in business litigation by The Florida Bar, and focuses her practice in business disputes, representing business owners, employers, and property owners in both state and federal court at the trial level and on appeal.
