Embracing Our Differences recently announced that it added Christina M. de Guia, M.D., to its board of directors. De Guia is board-certified in both child/adolescent and adult psychiatry; she runs a private practice, serves as a staff member at Sarasota Memorial Hospital, and trains third-year medical students as a clinical professor at Florida State University. With Embracing Our Differences, she says, she hopes to use her experiences to help others through art, education and improved communication.
