Ryan Perrone, the owner and co-founder of the Sarasota-based luxury builder Nautilus Homes, was recently selected as a “40 Under 40” rising star by both Professional Builder magazine and by the Business Observer. Both honored Perrone, 35, for outstanding achievements accomplished before the age of 40.

Professional Builder’s 2020 "40 Under 40" list includes 14 women and 26 men who were selected from more than 100 nominations submitted from all regions of the United States. All are leaders and innovators in the field of home builders, developers, designers, researchers, and sales professionals. The honorees also are active in giving back to the industry and to their local communities. The Business Observer's 2019 40 under 40 issue includes fast-rising executives and community leaders, including Venice-based Tervis CFO Hosana Fieber; Porter Smith, Tampa Bay market president for American Momentum Bank; and Catherine Palmisano, a senior audit manager with Fort Myers-based Hughes, Snell & Co. Nautilus Homes was also recently honored for two "Best in American Living" awards and one Nationals award by the National Home Builder’s Association.
