Venice's Phil Crocker was recently given the Kenneth S. Janke Lifetime Achievement Award for his volunteer service with BetterInvesting, a national nonprofit investment education organization. Crocker has been active in investment clubs since 1985, beginning in New Jersey and continuing when he moved to Florida in 2015. Investment clubs help members learn about the stock market while investing. Crocker teaches adult education classes to help people learn how to maximize their savings by investing in the stock market.
