University of South Florida Sarasota-Manatee regional chancellor Karen Holbrook recently named Gert-Jan de Vreede as the interim dean of the College of Business. De Vreede replaces James Curran, who is returning to teaching full-time this fall. De Vreede has served as a professor in the Department of Information Systems & Decision Sciences at the University of South Florida Muma College of Business in Tampa for the past three years. He is also a professor at the International Summer School at the University of International Business and Economics in Beijing, China, and a lecturer at the University of Innsbruck, Austria. He will officially begin his duties at USF Sarasota-Manatee on Monday, Aug. 6.
