Nonprofit That Helps Those with Disabilities Adds Two New Board Members
Venice's Loveland Center, a nonprofit that helps individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities, recently added Laurie Huebner and Jack Drew to its board of directors. Huebner is a senior human resource consultant at LMH Consulting and a consultant with the Gulf Coast Community Foundation; she spent 20 years as vice president of human resources for Dr. Pepper Snapple Group. Drew is a store manager for Publix, a company he has worked for for 26 years; he first became involved with the Loveland Center when he joined its Development Committee to help strengthen fundraising and communications outreach.
