With scrutiny growing over sexual harassment, the Manatee Tiger Bay Club is focusing its next luncheon on "what can business owners do to create a safe workplace for their employees and avoid liability for the company?" The meeting begins at 11:30 a.m. Thursday, Nov. 16, at Pier 22 Restaurant, 1200 1st Avenue West, Bradenton. 

Panel participants will be: Anne Chapman, principal, Blalock Walters, P.A.; Lee Epting, consultant, Technology and Women in Leadership; Evangeline Hawthorne, director of the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission's Tampa Field Office; and Dr. Judith Sedgeman, principal, Sedgeman Consulting, LLC.
